About Us
Our heritage starts in the Mediaeval period more than 400 years ago when William Shakespeare, who lived nearby, had recently retired.
The Poor's Land Trust (established 1612) is a registered charity number 236182, and its recorded activity is "running of the church piece allotment gardens and distribution of surplus revenue to needy people of the parish of Mickleton"

The Church Pieces Allotments are situated on the Stratford Road on the outskirts of the village. There are approximately 60 plots at any time which are rented as a whole plot, half or a third sized plot.

We are lucky to boast several community groups working for the good of the people of the parish, and beyond, on their rented plots.
